A warm welcome to Georgette’s of Oxford a society serving Oxford and the surrounding areas for all things Georgian and Regency, as seen dancing on Channel 5’s Buckingham Palace with Alexander Armstrong, with the aim for members to explore and enjoy some of the past times of that era.

We hold biweekly Regency and Georgian Country Dance classes in Wolvercote on Fridays – all abilities welcome.
Come along and attend your free trial class!

As well as historical dance classes, Georgettes partakes in costumed dance displays in stately homes, such as Claydon House and Newstead Abbey.

We also have a programme of excellent speakers offering free talks on a variety of subjects, such as 18th Century literature, historical costuming and the Old Masters.

And lastly we also hold social get-togethers, both costumed and non-costumed including picnics, theatre and concert trips and Regency games evenings.

Further details can be found in the Dance, Talks and Socials pages.
